Brady Knox is a foreign affairs reporter for the Washington Examiner with a particular focus on Russia, Eastern Europe, and foreign affairs. Hailing from Pittsburgh, he graduated from Miami University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian studies and political science. He was in St. Petersburg, Russia, when the war in Ukraine broke out, giving some informal coverage of his own before being evacuated to Germany through the United Arab Emirates. He was in the second row reporting on Donald Trump’s July 13, 2024 presidential campaign rally, providing firsthand coverage of the assassination attempt.

He began working with the Washington Examiner in June 2022, where he has since written over 5,300 articles. This coverage has included pieces on over 60 countries, helping to land him a role as a foreign affairs reporter in March 2026.

During his tenure at the Washington Examiner, Knox has interviewed several high-ranking international figures, including Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim, conducted the first English-language interview with Democratic Republic of the Congo Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka, the farewell interview with former Lithuanian Ambassador Audra Plepytė, and more.

Knox provided some of the first coverage of the U.S. raid to capture former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the U.S.-Israeli surprise attack against Iran.

His writing has earned him the attention of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
